Portable decontamination shower units have many applications, common users including emergency services. The Hughes’ Portaflex 300/16E Multi nozzle portable decontamination shower is ideal in this regard, coming in a compact carrying case and is quick to set up.

 

Four shower legs are formed by lay-flat duraline hoses (High-grade synthetic rubber, polyamide woven jacket), each of these has four spray nozzles fitted (½” machined PVC). The unit can be put into action in less than 2 minutes. Once connected to a water hydrant, the hoses become rigid under pressure, taking on a curved form which gives 360 degrees of decontamination for the users.

This unit is also easy to transport, having an aluminium carrying case which is as rugged as it is compact and can be efficiently used as a base platform for the portable shower unit when it is being used.
